You posted in the Qflix area and although it is hardware, it is specialized for use with the Venue and Qflix movie download. The Nero is a teaser version of their full version so it is limited. Just don't install it. All recent DVD/CD burners will work with Roxio products. Roxio uses the burner's drivers and firmware to burn; it does not rely on anything from Roxio except the program.
