Converting Wma Files With Toast 10?

Fredmo

Question

I'm trying to use Toast 10 to covert some WMA audio files on my Mac. Unfortunately, I get an error indicating that WMA is an unsupported format. Interestingly, I can convert WMA files using Toast 8. Does anyone have a sense of what the problem might be. All I am trying to do is make an audio CD from a collection of WMA files. I would think Toast 10 could accomplish this simple task. Thanks for your help.

I don't believe Toast supports WMA format. You'll need to find a different application that can convert the WMA to a Mac-compatible format which Toast can use.

Yeah, that's the feeling I am getting. I just find it interesting that Toast 8 can perform the file conversion. Did Roxio drop the ability to covert WMA files after Toast 8? Seems a bit odd to me....
