roguedan
Hi All, I am quoting on a job for a simple Blu-ray disc with moving menus. The client wants me to use AVC for the picture encoding. I have seen Firecoder Blu says it makes BD compliant AVC material and wondered if anyone has any experience in using this card? Cheers, Dan
plee
I agree Thompson/Canopus usually has decent products. It looks like an interesting product....
borjis
I have not, but I would trust it, if it says it does. Thompson has a good reputation. thanks for posting about this, I thought I'd have to wait a few more years to get just real time encoding from a blu-ray set top recorder. but if this thing really compresses HD video 2x realtime and for a fraction of the cost....wow!
