Using Trim Feature Closes Out To Main Menu

Everytime I use the Dvd with no menu option and use trim to edit my video; I click ok and the program reverts back to the main menu like I have done nothing at all. I have tried uninstalling the software and re-installing it....I am bummed. There are no updates for this program what should I do?

Do you mean that DVD Creator actually closes or just loses Focus and the Main Menu gets the Focus???

 

There is a big difference between those two scenarios!

 

If DVD Builder crashes then you need to Repair or Uninstall – Reboot – Reinstall.

 

If it is just losing focus that is "normal" and it has been doing that for the last 6 years. 3 years, got my versions mixed up!

Neither, I have tried re-installing the program. It doesn't lose focus it closes back to the main roxio menu. It doesn't crash my system at all, it's just when I trim the movie and then click ok, it goes back to the main roxio menu like I never did anything....just frustrated but have learned to trim my movies with DVD shrink and save to an ISO file which roxio burns no problem. I just wish I didn't have to use 2 programs to accomplish one thing. THanx

 

I never use the trim function, I much prefer the split and delete function

Then there is something on your computer that is crashing the program.

 

Make sure you have DirectX updated and check your updates for your Video Card. These are the most common.
