Adding Credits

Old_Dude

Question

I have been playing with VideoWave and I must say that I am impressed.

I do have a question about adding credits.

Does anyone know how to have the last picture (or video) start out full screen and then shrink in size, so that it moves out of the way of the scrolling credits?

In your last post you stated you were upgrading from version 6 to C2009 - that is what is confusing

Ah, I see.

I actually bought the software a "computer ago".

That is, this is the second machine I have put it on.

(the other one died)

You can do it if you add at least that last part of the video as an overlay. Your credits should be either on the main track or on an overlay if you want them to move to the position and then hold. You can position the overlays as you want it.

Use a colored panel the same length as you want to ending to be on the main track. Add both overlays and position them as you want. It will take some practice to get it exactly right but it is easy one you try it.

Post back if you want some screen shots.

I can sort-of get it to work. It's really cool.

Except the video immediately snaps to the reduced size, it does not shrink slowly.

Is there any way to do that?

I have not been able to remember if I can reduce the size slowly. I have tried playing with it but so far no go. I suggest that you add a transition on the main track just before you add the color panel for the overlay track to hide that abrupt size change. Remember to add the credits to the internal track of the color panel and then use the scroll effect.

I guess that I don't need the screen shot now.

What I am looking for is to have the picture or video shrink, move over and stay on screen with the credits next to it.

Yes, please post the screen shots. I think that I am close.

This would be a really cool effect.

I really love this forum and VideoWave, they can do so much for so little of a price.

BTW - I am upgraing from Easy CD and DVD Creator 6. So this is all really great.

Make sure your computer FAR exceeds the nonsense minimum requirements that Roxio posts on the website.

I'm not sure what you are saying, but I have been able to create a small DVD project, but I am just trying to add some cool credits.

My machine has no problem running Creator 2009.

I just think that this this one effect would be cool, if it is possible.
