Norotso
I have a lot of projects created using my 7.5. I have recently built a new system and have Vista 64bit OS If I go ahead and purchase the 2009 ultimate program, will I be able to import all my old projects and still be able to change them? Norotso
Does the new version have a similar program?
Larry
Does the new version have a similar program? VideoWave? Yes Creator 2009 includes VideoWave.
Norotso
VideoWave? Yes Creator 2009 includes VideoWave. Then I should be able to import all my old projects I made in VideoWave, no?
Jim_Hardin
Then I should be able to import all my old projects I made in VideoWave, no? While I totally agree that backward compatibility should be a given, it is not! But I do not understand your hang-up with it??? Just how many times do you really open an old project? And why? If it is to remake something just copy the original DVD it is faster anyway. If you stomp off and buy another product, you realize everything you have made is not transferable? Larry
Then I should be able to import all my old projects I made in VideoWave, no? No. As mentioned earlier, those projects are not compatible with other versions, only with v7.x
Larry
No, afraid not. v7.x projects are not compatible with the later versions.
Norotso
Then I guess theres no reason to purchase it.
Larry
Unless you are looking for a suite that will do 16:9 video and is compatible with Vista, which 7.5 is not, then you might consider it.
Norotso
No I mainly want the VideoWave program. I have lots of projects done and on going using this program.
Brendon
In that case you have no reason to purchase it, unless you want to continue making projects on the Operating System which won't run your 7.5. That saved you some cash
