What's the problem with Smartsound? All you've said is 'I've got a car' (and not even that it won't start) ;)

Quick Time - check with Apple (they don't do a 64 bit version, but then 64 bit apps are as common as hen's teeth). They do a version that can handle H.264 but you have to buy Quick Time Pro

One other point - your computer may be 64 bit but are you using the 64 bit version of Vista? The two don't necessarily correspond as HP offer a choice of either 32 bit or 64 bit Home Premium with an optional upgrade to 32 or 64 bit Business

SmartSound: OK, is there a problem?

QT: www.apple.com/quicktime/

I cannot use smartsound as my background audio. Instrad it just tries to open files and states thta I need to download QT for 64 bit when I do try toedit old files. I think I need to download QT for 64 bit but how & where?
