Cannot Read Discs To Create Labels (autofill From Disc)

Question

Hello, I hope someone can help me. I own Roxio Creator 2009. When I try to create a label for any disc I have recently copied, I cannot get Roxio to retrieve the disc information to populate the information on the label. Even when I try from the original. When I click on "autofill" from disc, absolutely nothing happens. I have tried with with different discs with always the same result...am I missing something? Thanks for the help!

I am running Vista 64 bit. Might that have something to do with it? Though this program is listed on the box as being Vista 64 bit compatible...

This is the reply I received from Roxio. Not worth a darn!! The old label crator worked so good. This was their reply on 1-14-2009.

Thank you for contacting Roxio Technical Support

We're always glad to hear from our customers whether it be a compliment, suggestion or an issue that needs to be resolved such as a software bug or a problem with our web site.

Roxio is aware of this issue and it has been reported to the engineering team.

Any updates will be delivered through the software or avaliable to download from the roxio website as they become available.

The work around at this time is to load the files into Music Disc Creator and then click Tools -> Create labels and inserts, which opens the express labeler with the track info included. If you prefer to use the full Label Creator app rather than express labeler, click next twice, click edit in Label Creator.

Thanks for contacting Roxio Customer Care. Let us know if you need further assistance on this issue by clicking the Update button.

Regards,
