Jim_Hardin Posted February 27, 2009 Report Share Posted February 27, 2009 In Capture Settings choose DV HQ instead of the default DV However slower PCs will not be able to keep up with the input compression and fast storage that mpeg requires. Try it and see. If it is a problem things will be jerky since several frames will get dropped. Something else nobody told you. A 4.7Gb DVD holds 1 hour of DVD Movie at best quality… Get some RW media so you can experiment and reuse it and run some tests at different outputs to see what is suitable to you.
