Easy Vhs To Dvd All But Easy

Hello Everyone! I received my Roxio easy VHS to DVD several weeks ago.

 

First, I did not see the the warning in installation instructions to plug in roxio adapter capture device and had to download the driver. I am receiving a signal, but:

 

Here is where I need collective help on several issues.

 

1.) Since I have VHS from years ago, my cam-corder was stopped and started at each filming activity. This is causing the capture device to not see a signal while the vhs tape is running for the next thing on the vhs. So the capture device stops, and unless I am ontop of my pc, to start capture again, I not only have to relocate the vhs to about where it stopped, but Roxio thinks that I want a new movie and then points me to finalize after five stops even though there is little space used on the DVD.

 

I have looked to no good, to see if there is a way to just let roxio record all the vhs even with blank spots?

 

2.) The plug and play locks up my PC and I have to reboot? What is the issue here?

 

3.) Does anyone know how to preview what is recorded when the capture stops so you know where to begin recording again?

 

Help! I would apprecied any comments on all three issues!

You are able to capture now, so the part about installing the drivers does or does not have any bearing??? Do you have the proper drivers that cd has listed in his post pinned at the top of the forum?

 

Did you apply the SP2 as listed at the top of this forum?
