Reinstallation Of Creator 2009 - Video Options No Longer Available

tjodoin

Question

Have been encountering issues with copy and convert video function since the program was installed in January. Finally followed the clean install procedure for Vista. While there was no mention of uninstalling Net 3.5, it looks like this is also required or the installer fails?

With Creator 2009 now reinstalled, a number of the modules for video (ie. copy and convert, advanced video), etc. are no longer available.

Is there a step for reinstalling missing or something?

Thanks but I've done that a couple of times already.

Unfortunately, no change. I just reinstalled again and while the installation goes ok, I only get the CD burn options. No disk labeling, no video copy & convert, etc. When I try to apply the SP3 patch, it states it can't find the Creator 2009 installation.

Not sure if it makes a difference but my system is Vista 32 Business SP1.

I'm completely at a loss.

Thanks for the replies.

I actually tried applying SP3 but it exits saying it can't find Creator 2009.

When Creator 2009 is launched, there are no options available for video such as video wave, convert and copy, etc.

It looks like the clean install also removed video codecs?
