Says Drive Is Empty

I just purchased this program and it recognizes my burner but not the blank dvd, it says the drive is empty, I am using brand new sony dvd r and certainly I tried several dvd's to be sure I didnt get a bad batch as I have 4 seperate batches also everytime I try to look for help I get bombarded with popups to buy other roxio products which makes me very suspicious and I will be spending this night serching for authorities to make this complaint to as it seems clearly to be a fraud and I am now $40 dollars down

Besides Sony, what other brands, and what types (-R, +R, RW) dvds you've tried.

 

BTW: people in these forums, w/ the exception of a very few, are not employees of Roxio.
