mooblie
Anybody know (or suspect) the outcome of sending a (1080i50) Blu-ray Disc authored in Toast 10 in UK, to the USA? To play on a "standard" USA-bought BD Player (or USA-bought PS3) connected via HDMI into a USA-bought HD-ready TV? I'm hoping that, with BD, the days of having to suffer frame-rate conversion (before disc authoring) are over? Please?

mike457
The limitations of NTSC vs. PAL still apply, I believe. However, many disk players and TVs don't care which format the disk is in and are only hampered by regional encoding. I have an LG Blu-ray player and an LG TV. I have played region-free 1080P UK discs without difficulty.
