Make still photos from DVDs?

I tried making screen caps from my DVDs, but even 'though they get captured, once I've edited them in my photo program, they disappear into a black space.

 

Is there an option to make stills from DVD scenes in Easy Creator? Thanks!~Liz

Most Players will have a capture function but due to the nature of DVD video it cannot be captured by 'normal' XP means. Many players, bundled with a PC are a 'Lite' version and have that feature disabled.

 

Likewise DVD Builder will allow the capture of a single frame – From the Screening Room pane there is an icon at the bottom marked "Extract Frame".

 

It will take the current frame of the Screening room.

 

Of course all will be a little disappointing in that best quality of a DVD is only 720 X 480.
