Easy Vhs To Dvd Is Not Easy

Gone

Question

 I have had this software for a week now and still can not get it to work. I have contacted Tech support at least five times with two different tickets, and keep getting the same unhelpful answer each time. The first ticket they stopped answering. From what I have been reading I am not alone with this problem. I paid good money for this product and would expect some good help with it.

I have tried what other have said to do and it is not working.

I am not having any luck with installing this product either. It just will not install, even though it says it has successfully installed at the end of the routine. I tried loading the update, but it says it cannot find the Roxio software on my machine (neither can I...) Windows cannot find a driver for the USB device either.

Help!!

The device requires a USB2 connection - make sure it isn't in a USB 1.1 - also try the ports at the back instead of the front

Try a clean install but plug the device in BEFORE installing the software (and also cancel any attempt by Windows to install its own drivers)

Followed instructions but my my computer informs me there is no driver installed for a USB2861 Device. Reinstalled with no success.

Been all day on this! Installed with the Video Capture USB device pluged in to a USB 2.0 port. HELP. I can get this thing to work!

I got the USB driver to install, but the Program Software just will not install. It gets about 1/3 the way through it (apparently while loading Microsoft .Net v 3.5), sits there a while, and then displays a window that the program was setup successfully.... but it is nowhere to be found on my computer. I'm not sure how to do a "clean" install. Why does this have to be so difficult???

Thanks.

Try the following links for a Clean Uninstall/Install. They're for Creator 2009, but should work for VHS to DVD also.

XP: http://kb.roxio.com/content//kb/Creator/000206CR

Vista: http://kb.roxio.com/content//kb/Creator/000207CR
