Emc 10 Upgrade

I was just wondering what these 2 upgrades were for, as they are very long and difficult to install. already tried and had to give it up, was an alll day affair, the only reason i wanted to upgrade was i have problems with movies skipping or freezing for a few seconds every now and then, did not have this problem on roxio 9 which came on comp and never have this problem when i use windows dvd maker. any help will be appreciated, thanks bighitter.

sorry, not upgrades, but updates to version 10.1.226, and also a content update. was w ondering what was updated before trying to install it again. I am trying to get rid of minor freezing and skipping when burning, any information would be appreciated

10.1 is a complete install in itself and was meant to fix a specific problem - so whether or not it will cure yours is moot
