Blackberry Media Manager

aeon

Question

I recently installed the newest RIM Desktop Mgr and when I went to copy pics and ringtones from my device, I found that it was not recognizing my media card as a device, it only lists device memory. I searched aroung the web and thought I found that I needed to purchase the full version of Creator 2009 and did. After installing it still only reflects "device memory" and not an additional device for my media card. Is there something I need to do to make media mgr recognize my internal media card?

Did you update Creator 2009 to SP3? There were some Blackberry fixes in it.

Are you using a good quality memory card that meets the Blackbeerry requirements - speed/size/quality? Do you have a different memory card to try or a way of testing that card (computer reader)?

Yes, I did update immediately with the SP3, but did not fix the issue.

I don't know the BB specs, but it is a SanDisk 2GB Micro and I can see, play and copy them within the BB. I was able to access it fine with an older version of the Desktop software until I recently upgraded to Desktop MGR 4.3. I don't have one, but I can get one if that is the issue.

Time to talk to Research in Motion (Blackberry) :(
