Sound Card Not Recognized For Audio Capture

Aquagem

Question

When I go to record audio via my sound card, the only options I've given under capture are for my line in microphone and my array microphone. My sound card isn't listed at all.

I used this program at work in the past and never had problems. I am using Windows Vista 32 bit. Sound card is Sigma Tel High Definition Audio. I have the most updated driver for the sound card so I'm really not sure what the issue could be.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Check this:

Go to Control Panel,Sound and the Recording tab.

Right click on any device you see and check Show Disabled Devices.

Now go back to the recording tab and see if you see any different devices.

If you do right click them and check Enable.

Now see if you get what you need.

I appreciate your response. I actually did this before posting to no avail. I also tried disabling my microphones to see if Roxio would automatically pick up the soundcard if there were no other avaiable options. That didn't happen. Instead, I got an error that no recording devices were found and the software wouldn't even open.

I'm completely baffled!
