Slideshow With Music For A Blu Ray Disk

super-midi

Question

I just got Toast 10 Pro. How do I add music to a slide show? I'm making a blu ray disk (blue ray) with a slideshow and want to add music in the background. I'm using a mac. If I can use another program and import that into Toast, that OK too. I apologize if this is easy, but I just don't know how to do it.

Hi, super-midi -

You actually have a few options for this. Most applications that create slide shows have built-in functionality that would allow them to add music into presentation (the method varies with the application being used).

Also, since you purchased Toast 10 Pro, you also have the option of using SonicFire Pro 5 to do this. It is an application designed specifically for what you are trying to do - adding music to video/slide show materials. SonicFire Pro can be installed from the Toast 10 Pro install disc, in the Pro Applications folder.

Once you've added the sound into your presentation, just save the file. You should be able to just drag and drop into Toast after that, as long as the application used to save the project creates a standard file type.
