'Might'? LOL Strange as it sounds, my reception is much better on a miserable, cloudy day and worse on a nice clear day. So now tell me why digital broadcasting is better?

Beams bouncing off the low clouds? No, that's not it. Ah, the rain on that miserable day has cleared the air of some of the particulate/other polution.

Remember that "low power" stations do not have to switch to digital.

I'm 30 miles from Houston so I'm one of the lucky ones. I can get about 28 digital stations with a Hauppage converter and a small unpowered antenna sitting on my pc. Unfortunately more than half of them are in Spanish (which I don't understand) or religious. I don't talk politics or religion and two out of three ain't bad. I still get 16 analog channels; many are the analog version of the digital channels.

I have a dish for those sports programs ! :P
