squires
Help me somebody before I go completely bonkers in the head! I've just tested my superdrive using iDvd and have burnt a movie to dvd with no problem. but when I try and use Toast 9 I keep getting a flag as It attempts to write the lead in saying Sense key=medium error sense code 0x73,0x03 and then it spits my blank dvd out. these blanks are the same ones I use with idvd and burn fine. So what is the problem wiht toast i would like to know? I'm beginning to wonder why I've forked out for this software when it doesn't even work! No help form roxio on this is the impression I'm getting from other online users! Not very good I suggest for mac osx users.
tsantee
Toast communicates with a drive differently than Apple's burn applications. For example, Toast can support faster burn speeds with some media and drives. So the first thing to try is choosing a speed slower than Best. You can choose a speed after the disc is inserted and recognized. It may also be a help to first choose Save as Disc Image and then burn the disc image using the Image File setting in the Copy window. A different brand of discs may be worth trying as well.
