What about daisy-chaining several burners together via a hub or repeater system? Would this work??

No. Toast can see and communicate with one burner. So you need each burner to be assigned to each copy of Toast.

I believe LaCie sells a multi-drive duplicator but it uses its own software for concurrent burning to its multiple drives.
