Music Disc Creator hangs.

My Music Dic Creator will not start. It gives me a message "Please wait...Loading component" It freezes there. I have gone to Add/Remove Programs and Chose "repair" I have burned and created many CDs in the past. Why won't it work now? Did you get any answers to this question yet?

I have Roxio Easy CD & DVD Burning program in a Red Box Roxio 9.0.554

My program opens but when I try to use the Music Disc Creator a message comes up "Please wait... Loading Components" It just freezes there. I have to shut down my computer to get rid of it.

I have gone to Add & Remove Programs and picked my Roxio program. I cose the "Repair" option to uninstall and reinstall the program. I have done this 2X. It does not fix my problem. This feature worked night before last. Now it does not. Can anyone help?? Dancer

They never posted back and you are making the same mistake the OP did...

 

You posted in Creator 2009, which doesn't have any Repair option so you don't even have this software…

 

What software do you actually have? – we can get you post moved there.

I have used the repair option 2X. It did not help.

I have Roxio Creator 9 and out of the blue I cannot get into Music Disc Creator. I click on it and the computer just stalls there and says loading. The system resouces stay at about 50% and just hangs there forever. I have made many, many cd's in the recent past and now It won't start. However every other program works just fine and will engage without a hitch.

 

I also totally uninstalled the program and reinstalled it. Did not help at all.

 

Please help if anybody has any suggestions.
