I am using Roxio Creator 2009. I want to make a DVD using MyDVD. I loaded two .AVI files in as one movie. I selected edit movie. I see the start of the movie on top and the Production Editor on the bottom. There are a lot of sections in this video I want to delete. Right now it is about four hours long and I want to get it down to about two. When I went to the first part of the movie I want to delete, I hit the trim button and everything after that point was deleted.
I can’t figure out how to select a section of the movie and then delete that section. I tried making it a chapter and then delete the content of that chapter, but I couldn’t figure out to delete the contents. I’m not trying to do anything fancy, like adding fades or music at this point – I just want to cut out the sections I don’t want. When I searched their help file, it just says select Edit Movie – that simple. I couldn’t find anything on how to actually do the edit.
