I found this article in the Roxio Knowledge Base, but it seems very tentative and I don't know if it covers your problem.

A bit more searching turned up this message on this tivo bulletin board.

 

I finally "fixed" this problem! Here's what I did...

 

1. Uninstalled All Sonic software

2. Rebooted

3. Reinstalled Sonic Software

4. Problem went away!

 

 

That's right, all I did was uninstall and reinstall Sonic and everything seems to work. This "solution" doesn't make me feel good however; I'm happy that it's working. Anybody else come up with a better solution?
