Label Creator Error

I attempted to copy some label creator files to a travel drive to be able to work on them on my other computer. It said that there would be a stream loss but the file would be ok. I copied them and now I cannot open any of the files(original or copies). Error message reads:

An attempt was made to access an unnamed file past its end.

 

Is there any way to recover these files or fix them so they will open or do I have to start my work all over again? Thanks.

Yes, the updated version is 10.1, and it refuses to work with files it created when it was 10.0.

 

Silly, isn't it. It wasn't repaired in version 11, either.

I get that error if I try to open saved files in a [slightly] different version of Label Creator.

They should still work okay in the version which saved them, but it seems that little can be guaranteed with Label Creator lately.

I had recently updated Easy media creator 10 online. I uninstalled it and reinstalled my original version from disc. Now I can open and work with those files. So I guess you should not update if you want to work with older version files you have saved?
