Problem with mpeg2/Audio?

When i'm trying to burn a DVD with a mpeg2 file from Evolution TV, Toast analyzes it as a musical file in place of a video file. (QuickTime, for example, read it without any problem as a video file, as well as any of my programs able to read such video files).

It happens since I upgraded to Toast 7.02 and to MacOSX 10.4.6.

I tested it with a mpeg file with wich I know it has already worked fine, and it works no more... Everytime an audio file...

Does anybody have an idea?

Try putting it in your Movies folder so you can select it in the Toast Media Browser. Does it show up as a video file there?

You could try trashing and reinstalling Toast (and its prefs and plist files).

You may need to use MPEG Streamclip to open the MPEG and then use its Save As... or Convert to MPEG menu to re-write the file with a new header. It won't re-encode it so it goes pretty fast.
