Cannot Add Chapter Buttons To Menu

Question

I have a digital camcorder that records to the hard disk so I get lots of files.

When I add movies individually to the MyDVD project, I get buttons on the menu.

However, when I add the smaller clips as a single movie I get one button on the menu. I divided the movie into chapters but this did not result in Chapter buttons on the menu.

I looked at help and found these instructions

If you are in Menu Edit view, and you want to create a submenu containing a button for each chapter, select the Generate chapter menu(s) and link to selected button check box.

I could not find any thing to select the “Generate Chapter Menus” or any box to check that would link to selected button.

If you are in Movie Edit view, and you want to update the chapter menu, select the Update chapter menu(s) check box.

I could not find a check box to “Update chapter menu(s)

I cannot find anyway to add menu buttons for the chapters. Can anyone help.

MyDVD: If you add multiple clips at one time, you get a box asking if you want a menu button for each item or combined under one.

If you add multiple VideoWave projects (dmsm) it separates them into buttons – no choice!

If you right click on any Button, and select Edit Chapters, the dialogue will come up with the default checked to Generate chapter menus and link to selected button.

If yours doesn't work like that you need to do a Clean Install…
