Roxio Easy Vhs To Dvd

I have tried everything they said in the book that came with this Roxio easy vhs to DVD, and nothing is working.

I have Windows Vista. Is it because of Vista that this is not working or what? On the Roxio box, it says,"Vista compatable." My problem is, that I cannot get past the "set production," screen.

 

When I click on ,"No Menu," and go to the "choose drive," the only thiing that is in the "drive"box is "E;Pioneer," I cannot get that out and that is the ONLY option I have. I cannot get down to the "Disc type." box, either. Do I have to re-install this, again? This would be the third time I re-install.
