I recently began experiencing a problem where EMC10 or Outlook will not accept html embedded pictures. EMC10 creates the picture but when I send the Outlook email, the picture is missing, being replaced by a blank space and the little red x. Now EMC10 and Outlook will perform properly if I do not let EMC10 resize the picture during this process. The version of EMC10 on my laptop works properly and I purposely blocked it from being updated so I suspect that the new upgrade to my desktop PC is the culprit. I reinstalled to no avail, but I suspect that the software upgraded during that process. All Outlook settings have been doublechecked. The 'sent' email in Outlook is blank also so the problem is occuring before it is sent to the ISP server.
Anyone else having a problem like this? Traceable to the newest software version? Any workarounds or suggestions, other than reinstall and block the automatic check for updates?
