-couldn't Set Up The Track For Writing- Toast 10 Brd-re

Hi Everyone

Having a problem on 2 computers burning Blue Ray Disc Re-Writables.

I am trying to burn an HD MPEG2 file converted to a .TS file (no encoding required by Toast). It goes through the muxing and the caching of ram then i get the error "couldn't set up the track for writing".

operating system is: OSX 10.4.11

Toast 10 (with blue ray plugin)

We are using an external LG blue ray burner :

Firmware Revision: YE03

Interconnect: USB

Burn Support: Yes (Unsupported)

Profile Path: None

Cache: 0 KB

Reads DVD: Yes

CD-Write: -R, -RW

DVD-Write: -R, -RAM, -RW

Burn Underrun Protection CD: Yes

Burn Underrun Protection DVD: Yes

Write Strategies: CD-TAO, CD-SAO, CD-Raw, DVD-DAO

Media: No

If anyone could help that would be awsome.

If you're running Toast 10 on OS 10.4 it's very likely that you may run into several issues being that Toast 10 states support for OS 10.5 on a PPC G5 or intel based system. Your issue may not be addressed for this reason alone. I have no problem burning HD mpeg2 files to DVD or Blu-ray with the BD LG drives i have.

You are receiving exactly the same error as I am wit the same drive and Toast 10. I am just writing random data. I wonder if it is the media. I am using Infiniti Reference Series BD-RE 25GB. I am using Toast on Leopard, so no link there. Keen to see a resolution.
