I started running into a problem with audio burns that has not happened in previous versions. I either get a disc which has 8-10 seconds of loud feedback at the begining of the disc, or a timing error on the last track. With the timing error, both the source and the disc show the same time (5:40 for example), but on the disc, the last few seconds of the song is missing. I am using Sony CDRs which have never caused me a problem. I'm also using a Sony DVD burner. I lowered the burn speed to 16X, cause I found at 40x the burns were very unstable. I aso made sure that I have the most recent burner for the drive. I have tried all the troubleshooting tips I found here, but nothing seems to fix this problem. I'm ready to scrap it all for a return to EMC7.
