RA1
I have issues converting Video_TS to DivX and Quicktime. Only 80% of the movie is converted. When I burn a DVD with the same Video_TS the entire movie is there. Please help (Toast 9, Mac, OS 10.5.6)
tsantee
It ends fine with no issues but it always ends at 68 minutes (No Joke). Is there a setting in Toast to limit the size/time of conversion? Remember that this never happens when burning to DVD.... I don't know why that would happen. Do you have any shortage of hard drive space? Exactly what settings and steps are you following?
RA1
I don't know why that would happen. Do you have any shortage of hard drive space? Exactly what settings and steps are you following? I simply open Toast, select Convert, Select Player Settings, Device: DivX Player or Quicktime Movie, Quality: HD or Costom, Sae to: Desktop or Network Drive or Movie Folder.... Ok to this. Select VIDEO_TS or Video Files on the left pane Drag the Folder to the left pane. Then I select Options and Video and Audio are set to Main. Click on Preview and movie can be seen. Click on Convert Vodeo and the process starts with no issues. It takes a while for the conversion process and it ends fine. Depending on the movie it may take longer but it all ends OK. When playing the movie (DivX or Quicktime) it only records 68 minutes. When I convert to iPhone/iPod or burn a DVD with the same files/folders the entire movie is there. This only happens when I convert to Divx or Quicktime. Toast 9.0.5, Mac OS 10.5.6, Energy Saver: Computer set to 2 hours, Display to 3 min Let me know if you need more settings..... Thanks in advance.
SomeRandom
Is an error message displayed during the convert attempt? Or does it appear to finish without issue?

If you are using HD or Custom for quality instead of Home Theater with a standard-definition video source then you are asking Toast to upscale the resolution which isn't a good idea because it can actually look worse. Your best quality will be with the Home Theater setting when using standard definition video as the source. See if you still get the 68 minute limit using that setting. I changed HD to Home Theater and it worked. Comparing the two movies (HD with 68-min and Home Theater with the entire movie) HD is sharper than the other. In other words, better quality. Any ideas why it stops at 68?
