I have been having the same problem that others seem to be having, where Popcorn 3 "quits unexpectedly" at the end of burning a large disc image, and then continues to behave badly afterward. I don't know if it actually fixes anything or not, but I have noted that because Popcorn 3 is having an uncontrolled crash, some of the things that happen normally when Popcorn quits end up *not* happening - most notably that the Roxio Converted Items folder is not automatically purged.
The Default location for the file is in your Documents folder, and it is set (in preferences) to automatically purge when Popcorn quits. When it crashes instead of quitting, those files are not purged. When you reload Popcorn and try to start over, the corrupted files seem to ensure that whatever screwed up the first time keeps screwing up over and over again.
If you have already yoinked your preferences file and keep having problems, try purging your converted items file as well... it might help.

Your mileage may vary.
