Haven't a clue on what you are trying to do, what you are doing, what program you are using, etc?

How about some details? Please make your posts readable - your post looks like one, long confusing sentence

Creator 9 when I make a dvd with music and pics from a file spend all that time then it asks to save as or save so I save as Racing 09 fo example to my video file in my docs. When I try to bring it up to burn the dvd it gives me a error saying validating files find browse or skip it is to confusing to try to exlpain sorry

after I save it in my videos and try to get it to come up and burn the project I get a a screen Validating files with a bunch of missing movie in file. My options are go to error but it wont resolve anything. It to confusing to explain

Roxio Creator 2009 or Easy Media Creator 9? They are 2 completely different suites.

What program from the suite are you using: Videowave, myDVD?

When you Save As, all you are saving is the project file which is simply a list of instructions on how to create your project, what sources you are using, etc. It does not contain any video that can be burned to a DVD.

Please read this article on how to create a DVD

First, are you using Roxio Creator 2009 or Roxio Easy Media Creator 9? There is not suite that is actually named Creator 9.

Second, what program, in the suite, are you using to create your production? You should be using VideoWave, which is under the Edit Video - Advanced button, in Roxio Creator 2009.

What it sounds like to me that you are doing is:

Starting some sort of project either in MyDVD, Videowave, or one of the "Assistants" like the Slideshow Assistant.

Then after adding music and pictures to it, you save the production as a project file.

Then when you try to open the project, it can't find the pictures and music you added to the project.

Correct so far?

If so, I'm guessing that you are either moving the project file you saved to another location on your hard drive, or the pictures and music files were either moved from where they were when you built the project or they were on discs that you took out afterwards.

Understand, that no matter what kind of project you are making, the project file you save contains no video, audio or pictures in it. It only points to where the original files were that you used. So if you rename them, move them, take out the disc they are on, or move the project file, you will get a missing files message. You then need to point it to where those original files now are, provided they still exist.

BTW, I'm also guessing, from where you posted, that you actually have Creator 2009, not Easy Media Creator 9. they are not the same.

You type faster than me Bruce :)
