Size Of Updates

PaulJ

Question

Is there a reason that Roxio releases updates as complete installations? 400 meg for a 0.0.1 update seems a bit ridiculous. Surely there are incremental updater technologies available that would minimize the size of the download.

And yes, I know we are all on high speed internet and have terabyte hard disks, but still, 400 meg to fix three issues?

I prefer having full size install who are basicaly a full install and allways use mac os x combo update instead of incremental update.

Full install or clean install seem to solve better bugs left after some incremental update , lets call that the safer way even if it may appear an overkill way.
