Is Drag-to-Disc the same as DirectCD

Question

as above?

Just I am trying to use Acronis True Image (like Norto Ghost) to backup my PC. It says you need DrectCD to be running as it uses UDF for writing to the disks?

is Drag to disk the same as directCD?

thanks

Personally, I don't have Direct CD/Drag-to-Disc installed, and run Acronis True Image too. I have it scheduled to make the backups to another HD. Then, on occasion, I write those to DVD. Makes for completely unattended operation. I don't even usually notice it if I happen to be working on the system.

Just another way to run it.
