Mydvd( Contents Cd

Canonrt

Question

I installed a new master hard drive on my vista ultimate system. I re-installed MYDVD9 that worked perfect on the old master Hard Drive. Now I can not change menu button styles, they are all there, but they are greyed out & when I go to drag them, I get a X in a circle.

I was also having a hard time muting that stupid default music that is playing when you create a dvd.

I would gladly upgrade to 10 but the lack of support on 9 & the inability to get a human to speak to at Roxio stops that thought!

Can someone help with this button issue?

There is probably other things not working, I just haven't found them yet.

If you are working with Roxio Easy media Creator 9, then I suggest that you remove any previous versions you have on that new HD and then install the program and "content" portions again. Once you have that working correctly, to remove any default Menu Audio, see attachment.

You mute the menu music the same way as you did before you put in a new hard drive. Nothing has changed, there.

If you can't change the button styles, then you screwed something up when you installed the software. Try doing a Repair, through Add/Remove Programs.

If that doesn't work, follow the instructions for the Clean Install, posted in the Installation forum.

If EMC 9 doesn't work, don't waste your time trying to make EMC 10 work, because that won't happen until you find out why your EMC 9 isn't working.
