derm318
I have just recorded an audio file from an internet site. I looked in my iTunes library afterward and it is not there. Where can I find it?
derm318
There were no track names. Perhaps I am not setting up the correct recording parameters. I am trying to record streamed audio from an internet source, Rhapsody Music service. How should I set up CD Spin Doctor to get this to work? It is the marked track that gets exported to iTunes. You mark the drag by clicking and dragging across one of the waveforms. You'll see the generic track name appear when you've finished marking the track.
derm318
I have now been able to record the tracks. However, none can be identified by the track listing online service, although the album is very mainline and the sound quality is like what one would hear from a recording from a microphone. Does CD Spin Doctor only get the sound from the internal mic or is there a way to record directly from the sound card?
tsantee
The first time you opened CD Spin Doctor it should have installed the CDSD System Audio Capture which enables capturing any audio that is being received by the Mac without using the microphone. You can choose it as an input source. It also is automatically chosen when you choose "Start Auto Music Capture" in the first window that appears when launching Spin Doctor. If that CDSD System Audio Capture was not installed then you can install it under the CD Spin Doctor menu.
