My video player does not have an s-video connector on it, all it has is a scart port and the red and white audio connectors. I purchased a scart plug to 3 phono & i (4pin) s-video socket which you can switch to either in or out. I also purchased a s-video cable. I connected everything up and at first got a somewhat wobbly terrible picture but did get sound ok. I set the video input to s-video then tried composite video but the picture has now gone all together but i can still hear sound.
