I've been capturing video from old VHS tapes for the last couple of months. I've been able to get rid of a large number of old tapes. But I'm in a state of confusion at the moment.
In the edit process I sometimes need to break a video clip into scenes. From Media Manager I choose a clip, right click, and select "Scene detection" from the menu. Then I pick a place to create a new scene. Looks good so far. Then I click "OK" to close the scene detection window. Now the clip should have a little arrow in the lower right-hand corner to indicate that the clip has been divided into two or more scenes. Clicking on that arrow is supposed to bring up the scenes for that clip. But there is no little arrow.
I have defragged the hard drive, restarted Roxio, rebooted the computer (warm and cold), reinstalled Roxio, uninstalled Roxio, reinstalled it again, and I still can't get the scene detection to work again.
Now, I am grovelling on the floor and begging for your help. What else do I need to do? Please???
