How Do I Print To Adhesive Labels?

ervierto

Question

I want to print my disc label onto an adhesive label. However, whenever I attempt to print, it tries to use a lightscribe device that is not set up on my machine. The only printer option I am given is Drive E. How do I print to a printer rather than a lightscribe device?

What printer do you have and is it connected and on? Wait until the preview for the lightscribe finishes and then use the drop down arrow to find your printer.

I have numerous network printers connected and on and I am able to print other pages (like front cover, inserts, etc.) with no problem. I just can't choose anything other than lightscribe for the disc. When it comes up it gives an error that it needs to be updated, the preview doesn't display and it doesn't allow me to choose any other printer.

Try Label Creator instead of the bogus label software that you get from the main desktop menu. Click on the Start button, like you are shutting down your computer, then All Programs/Roxio Creator 2009/Applications/Label Creator.

That is really the only way to get to the real deal. Some Roxio programmer must have finished up the desktop Home menu, right about "Happy Hour" time, on a Friday.
