Buffer Overun Detected!

King James

Question

Hi fellow,

i need help on my issue.

i have finished adding movies to my dvd project, but upon burning it i got this error message.

Microsoft Visual C++ Library

Buffer Overrun detected!

Program:...\Roxio Creator 2009\VideoUI 11\Videowave11.exe

A buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the program's internal state.

The program cannot safely continue execution and ust now be terminated.

note:

This issue happens on the (97%) Overall progress for the Burn project option.

Current task: Encoding Menu (99%)

Any help on this matter is highly appreciated as i need to submit my video within this week.

thank you.

Read this

Instead of burning directly to a disc, select to burn the project to an ISO file. When it completes, just copy the ISO file to the disc using Creator Classic or VideoCopy and convert.

What brand DVDs are you using? What burner do you have? Have you checked for updated firmware for that burner? If there is updated firmware, be careful and follow the directions directly or you will create a small door stop.
