Error Code When 97% Finalized

monsterjim

Question

first of all, when going from VHS to DVD in the "plug and play" mode, shouldnt I be able to push"stop capture" at anytime, so that I dont have to record a whole VHS? THe caption is allways up that says"more room on disc push capture now" even when I am capturing. If I push stop capture, by the time I get to next section of VHS I want to record the error "Fatal error while burning to DVD" comes up." I didnt even push finished yet! why is it burning to DVD allready? The details of the fatal error are ".\DSBurner.cpp(1478):***Error 80004005=m_spGrapphMgr-7Stopgraph()" and ideas? Thanks. oh yea. I can take the DVD out and the content is on it though even thought the error came up. but if I only recorded like 15 seconds of a VHS that is all that is going on a DVD cause it wont let me capture more than once per DVD. I would just use "capture video" but it just locks up as soon as I open it.

Try using "Capture Video" rather than Plug & Burn. My guess is you will find that will get you what ever portion of a VHS tape that you want. Just record and stop and then save that portion to your computer. You can always use several of the takes and put them together in the "Videowave" portion of the program (Advanced--Edit Video) and do additional editing there also.

Plug and Burn is really just a Wizard-like app and not a true P&B.

Like most Wizards it leaves a lot to be desired…

But you are getting too many breakdowns indicating a bad install. And the only thing that works for that is the Clean Install procedure, which we borrow from Creator 2009.

Vista

XP

The trick to Clean Install is to print it out so it is by your side and follow it step by step using the More or Less method. (Don't do More than it says and don't do Less!)
