choreo
Am I missing something? It looks like the UPGRADE price to Titanium 10 or 10 Pro is the same as having never owned a previous version? Is that right?

Is that right? There is a mail-in rebate for owners of Toast 8 and prior.

John Isaacs
MacMall is selling Toast 10 for $58.98. Their regular price is $78.99, but they offer a $20 instant rebate good through May 11. I've been a long time Toast user, but my last version was Toast 8. I didn't see any reason to upgrade to Toast 9, but I just got a Mac Pro and with the move to Leopard decided to get Toast 10. Roxio's upgrade policy has always been poor to useless. The regular price from third party sellers is the same as the upgrade price, without the hassle of a mail-in rebate. And sale prices are even better. My advice to Roxio: Start treating your customers better. If you offered decent upgrade pricing, I would upgrade with each new version as a matter of course. As it is, I need a #$^@ good reason to upgrade. And it's usually cheaper to just buy a new copy from a third party. Did you just bleep dam-n? D-amn! tsantee
That's right. The only upgrade discount I see is from version 9. Roxio does send out emails with special prices at times. Also check some of the online retailers for discounted prices. I'm not with Roxio so I have nothing to do with their pricing decisions.
