I am trying to format and mount BD-RE discs and cannot get them to mount in Leopard 10.5.6. Regular BD-Rs burn and mount through the drive (A Pioneer BDR-203).
I have attempted to format for dynamic writing and it seems to go through the process but the discs won't mount. Apple Disk Utility shows a disc in the machine but it is greyed out and won't mount it either.
I have run setup assistant to ensure the Blu-Ray plug-ins are installed. The box is unchecked and when I check the box to install them and hit continue nothing happens. I'm not sure what extensions I'm supposed to have and whether they are actually being installed.
I have trashed preferences and Toast and reinstalled from the 8.0.5 updater and still cannot get the discs to mount.
