I have just been to a client who's 24" iMac (running 10.5.6) has Toast 9.04. When she drags and drops files onto the Toast panel then presses Record, the normal dialogue appears showing write speed etc. then when she presses record there, Toast just quits then restarts itself automatically but in a default state (no files, write speed etc.) I deleted all plists, application support folders and even reinstalled from scratch but it still did this. I created a test account on the iMac and Toast worked just fine!!! Therefore, I deleted her prefs in her account and Toast did work fine until I reset System Prefs, Dock prefs etc., then it just fubar'd again! The only way I could get it to work properly was to use the 'Add' buttons and not use drag and drop! Does anybody know of any obvious conflicts with prefs or kext?
