Ps3 Patch...need It Or Not

Long story short, I'm dealing with a couple of other problems and started looking at the PS3 Patch as a possible problem. I've already eliminated it from the problem list...but, I'm not sure if I need it either. I noticed the pinned post of the patch is quite old (April 07?). My copy of DVDit Pro HD came in October 08. So the question is, do I still need this dll patch? My version's DLL is actually a little larger in size (512 kb vs 444 kb)...so one might think it had more information in it (that or poor coding ) It's creation date is later too (5/16/08 vs 4/12/07). Anyway, I'm hoping Scott can check to see which DLL I'm suppose to be using. Before I ever downloaded the patch, I created a disc...and it did play on a PS3 (it was a customer's...I know nothing about their player other than that) so that makes me think my dll is ok.

If you are not using version 6.4 then you'll need the patch, Scott mentioned that 6.4 should have the patch in it.
