Fixing Glitches In Slideshow Presentation

jimsdeere

Question

I am working on a slideshow, have it all together and burned a copy. However, at the beginning I have a panel with a scrolling intro and it techenchily works OK but the text is very jumpy on the screen. So are a lot of the pictures. Is there something I have missed? I have tried and tried redoing the text and panel multiple times to no avail. Any suggestions.

Well, you posted in an area of the boards that really has nothing to do with what you are having an issue with.

Try giving some details, like what Roxio/Sonic product you have (then this can be moved to the appropriate are), what part of it are you using, what are the steps you are taking, what are some specs of your pc, etc....

First off, You have posted in the wrong forum. What Roxio Program version are you using ? If it's Roxio Creatot 2009, then post your question or problem in that particular forum. Then what program did you use to produce your slide show ?? Again if you are using C2009, then use the Program "Videowave" to prodice your slide show and then import that saved file to the program "MyDVD" to preview, make optional changes and burn a DVD.

Thank you for taking the time to help me, your suggestions were very appreciated...I'm new at this, please pardon my being in the wrong place, I'll try again. By the way, I'm using Creator10, I did produce my show in Videowave, imported the saved file into "MyDVD", the text appears fine in the preview, it's when I play it back on the TV that the text is hard to read and jumpy. But if I understand you correctly I should find the "Creator 10" forum. Here goes....

Hi, I am using Creator 10 to make a slideshow, videowave is where I did most of my editing. I am trying to put a scrolling text panel for an intro to the show, kind of like credits, but I am having trouble with the text jumping around after I burn the copy to view on TV. It's almost like the text is glimering, kind of wiggling, I'm not sure how to describe it. And some of the pictures edges do the same thing. Is there anything I missed or should have done. I've even tried making a still text page but the text does the same thing. My proceedure in creating the text page is this: Insert a black color panel, click on it and select 'Add Text Effect', select credits, to add the text then I select the text object ( a little box) then begin adding my text. when I get through with all the options I want on the motion I click done for the internal tract and then go to the transition, select that and the timing and continue on with my production. All goes well until I view this on the TV...You should be able to view and read the text with out all this jumpyness. Any suggestions as to what I may be doing wrong?

O.K., you're in the right forum now so good going so far. Sounds like you are using the right programs and doing most everything right. But Try using a different motion text on your color panel and see if that will make any difference. So instead of using the "credits" option for the motion, use one of the other options and see if that changes anything. When you are in the Text Effect scren check the little red ball way up in the upper right corner of the screen and choose on eof those motion options as a test.

I'm not sure what is causing the text to jump around or what ever it's doing but unless that "Credits" is what you have to have, I would try another motion option. Then let us know if that makes a difference.
