Ptfitzy
I recently got "Roxio DE" on my new Dell computer with VISTA. I would like to know how can I make a " Mixed CD". In other words, take a few songs from each of 2 CD's and burn them on one CD. I have been trying to figure this out all morning. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Ptfitzy You have a Dell OEM version of the Roxio program. OEM's are cut-down/crippled versions of the Full Roxio retail version and may not contain the application you require to do this (ask Dell it is their software). The full retail version (Music Disc Creator program) does what you want to do.

Ptfitzy A mixed CD is something other than what you think it is. It is one with both audio and data for example. I'm not sure what you have. Open Creator (probably EMC 10 or EMC 9 DE) and look for a application that will rip a CD to your hard drive. Then, all you have to do is use something like Music Disc Creator to compile what you want on the disc and then burn it. If you can't find those applications, then the version is crippled enough to not allow you do do it.
